A Roman Catholic Charismatic
Covenant Community serving the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex
Mt. Saint Michael Catholic School
The Christian Community of God’s Delight
is active in our communities by:
Leading, forming, teaching, Christians of all ages to recognize God’s bountiful love, to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, and receiving the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. Come and see on Sunday’s at 4pm in the Mount St. Michael Catholic School gym.
The largest ministry of the Community is our school Mount St. Michael Catholic School. MSMCS started as a school for its members but now is a member of the Catholic Diocesan system and open to like-minded families. For more information see their website at: https://www.msmcatholic.org
Our Middle School Ministry serves youth in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades providing formation and activities on Sunday afternoons starting at 4pm in the MSMCS gym. The ministry also provides Confirmation preparation every other year. For more information please contact the leader at middle-school-ministry@GodsDelight.org
Our High School Ministry serves high school age youth providing formation and activities on Sunday afternoons starting at 4pm in the MSMCS gym. The ministry also has periodic events offsite for formation, service and to build relationships. For more information please contact the leader at high-school-ministry@GodsDelight.org
We also have ministries that serve our college age youth, both those married and not married. For more information about these groups and their activities please contact info@GodsDelight.org
Our Camp Jesus Summer Camp provides fun learning activities to fully engage children in first through sixth grades early in June each year. The camp meets Monday through Friday with days filled with activities and opportunities for children to experience Jesus and celebrate God’s Love and being children of God. For more information please contact the leader at camp-jesus@GodsDelight.org
The Community hosts an annual All Saints Party each October 31st in the MSMCS gym as an alternative to Halloween (that seems to celebrate death). Instead of ghoulish costumes, children are required to dress up as saints, angels, shepherds and other biblical characters. There are games, prizes, food and lots of candy.
In addition to all these ministries the members of The Christian Community of God’s Delight serve in their local churches and through the Dioceses of Dallas and Fort Worth in various ministries to witness our faith through active service.
